At Golden Road, we measure your progress and symptom improvements using a measurable series of questions, to give a number to your health.
Did you really feel better after you gave up gluten?? How much does your anxiety improve when you get 8 hours of sleep per night?? Are your new supplements making a difference? At Golden Road we want to make sure your efforts are paying off!! You answer a series of questions that address common symptoms, across many systems of your body, and you get a numeric score. As interventions are made, we recheck your health IQ to help you determine if you are really feeling better.
Subjective “how are you feeling?” is really tough to pinpoint when you are dealing with brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, depression, etc.. Many patients honestly can’t remember how they were feeling 2 weeks ago! But when you realize that your Health IQ is improving, it is motivation to stick to that diet, make yourself get in bed earlier, or make more time to meditate!! Maybe you aren’t sure if the last month of going gluten-free has helped your digestion issues, but you may find that your skin, your joint pain, and that weird ringing in your ear have all improved!!

The in-depth questions may take 90+ min, and will include many questions that you have probably never been asked by any other doctor.
